Get Your First Screen Running
A quick end-to-end walkthrough: install the player, pair your screen, add content, and get something playing in minutes.
Overview
This is the fastest way to get started with Digipal.
By the end of this guide, you should have:
one paired screen + one piece of content playing on it
You do not need to create a playlist or schedule yet.

What You'll Need
Before starting, make sure you have:
- access to your Digipal account;
- a compatible display;
- a supported player device;
- an internet connection;
- an image, video, or other supported content item to display.
1. Install the Digipal Player
Install Digipal Player on the device connected to your display. Choose the platform that matches your TV, media player, computer, or Android device, then use the Downloads page for the current installation instructions and download options.
Digipal Player is currently available on these platforms:
- Google Play — Install on Android phones, tablets, Android TV, or Google TV devices.
- Amazon App Store — Install on compatible Amazon Fire TV devices and Fire TV Edition displays.
- Android APK — Sideload the player on compatible Android TV boxes, media players, phones, or tablets.
- Windows — Install the Digipal Player desktop app on a Windows 10 or newer display computer.
- macOS — Install the native player on macOS 13 Ventura or newer.
After installation, open Digipal Player to display your pairing code.
2. Find Your Pairing Code
When the Digipal player loads, it displays a 6-character pairing code.

Keep this code visible.
You will use it to connect the player to your Digipal account.
3. Pair Your Screen
In the Digipal Customer Portal:
- Open My Screens.
- Select Pair Screen.
- Enter the 6-character code shown on the display.
- Give the screen a useful name.
- Choose the appropriate subscription option.
- Select Pair Screen.

4. Add Content
Follow these three steps to add your first item from My Content.

5. Assign Content to Your Screen
Return to My Screens.
Find the screen you paired.
Locate Assigned Content.
You can either:
Use the dropdown
Open Assigned Content and choose your content.
or:
Browse visually
Select the folder icon beside Assigned Content to open the content browser.
Choose the content and select Use this content.

6. Confirm Playback
Once the screen receives its content assignment, check the physical display.
Your content should begin playing.
In My Screens, you can also check the screen's:
Assigned Content
and:
Now Playing
If no override is active, these will normally refer to the same content.

Check that the Digipal player has internet access and is still running.
